You and Tequila Make me CRAZY

So I knew I was just waiting for the right time to use this huge & chipboard piece I have. So I was listening to my ipod the other night and you and tequila make me crazy and I remembered I haven't scrapped the pictures of my boyfriend and I drinking in the hotel pool bar on our trip to cancun in 2009 so I decided no better time than the present to do so! I inked and painted on the & sign to make it match the papers better- I used a distress tool on the pps underneath the transparency overlay. I added some rub ons to the black chipboard behind the 'you' and 'tequila' tags to give it a more graffiti look. I also cut up a white rub on and added it to the 'crazy' chipboard letters to give it more texture. I am really pleased with how this turned out. Thanks for looking!

Here is another layout that I just finished today for stuck?!'s august sketch #1 It is of us in Cancun after we were done with our snorkeling trip. I really liked the way I could use lots of embellies and ribbon on this layout and play up the colors. Thanks so much for looking!

Another layout completed!!!

I just completed this layout of us doing some sweet dives off the boat last year on lake red rock. We were taking a break from being out in the blazing sun so we decided to cool off in the water in style by jumping in the water in graceful form. I used this vintagey summer kit from the scrap room from last summer as my inspiration for the punky scraps challenge #24. I also used some of the inspiration for the layout from the dixie pieces august 2nd challenge. I liked the way the dress layered so I mimicked that with the banners on the layout. Super pleased with how this turned out. Thanks!

Last Minute Challenge Scrapping

I have been a scrappin fool this summer since I got back from study abroad... of course i'm not even making a dent in my things because I just keep buying more and more.... the cycle never stops!!! I hope to get some challenges and some more pages done tomorrow.... This layout was inspired by this lady that I took a picture of in all of her sexy glory... we were in myrtle beach during black bike week and got to see lots of views like this one while we were there... might not be the most appetizing picture but personally I think it's hilarious...Thanks for looking!
